This project proposes a significant sporting complex and community education facility at the western end of the CAD precinct in Broadmeadows. The iconic building combines sustainable building systems with a multi-purpose program of activities to become a sustainable site for public gathering, sport and celebration. Passive heating and cooling systems as well as a bike rental scheme ensure that "sustainability" becomes normal for the community, and cafes and open-air screens mean that the locals don't just visit for the sports facilities.
