Combining private enterprise and public space in a landmark vertical farm.

This is a design for a vertical farm; the farm uses a platform design and has latticing as an exterior skin to allow for light. Food is grown on a shallow hydroponic system whilst larger trees are grown on the ground level in deeper soil. The building collects water and also employs wind turbines to create energy. Community spaces within the building allow this skyfarm to be more than just a corporate landmark for the residents of Broadmeadows.
