A linear parkway interwoven with social infrastructure. LHsu hero

Meadowlink is an integrative linear park that informs local nodes of social infrastructure and connects the community to spaces that would be otherwise left underutilised. Joining the Moonee Ponds Creek trail to the proposed Merri Creek Parkland, the pedestrian and cycling track follows the path of the disused railway in acknowledgement of the industrial history of the area. The linear park is driven by social linkages, firstly connecting hubs of community activity, and then expanding through the reclamation of previous industrial space as community space. Meadowlink encourages community ownership of the area, as well as increasing local food production capabilities influenced by the rich cultural diversity of Broadmeadows.
