A design to eliminate the clothes dryer - one of the top energy users in the household - and therefore provide the people at EBD with a new functional way of drying clothes. "Breezeway" is a drying cupboard that uses wind cowls to draw in the breeze; sunlight heats up the glasshouse and dries clothes which are hanging in a pull-out cupboard. The individual compartments give privacy and security for clothes. The unit is made out of environmentally efficient materials and can be used in apartments and houses.
