What if the water you saved and recycled at home could be "banked" to use on your community garden plot? Ching_Tan

In a Water Sensitive City (WSC), residents will become producers as well as consumers of water.  Greywater, recycled water and rainwater conserved at home is a valuable resource.  In the case of apartment-dwellers who have garden plots, how could water conservation benefit them?  Aqua Anytime implies that smart technology and logistical management of Melbourne's water could allow individuals to "deposit" water at one point and withdraw it at another.  The Aqua Anytime interface tracks a community gardener's water resources, allowing them to choose to use greywater on flowers or fruit trees, saving the clean water for vegetables.
