The School + Incubator project investigates some tricky questions in architecture - trying to mix schools with public spaces and private spaces. Interestingly, the project suggests that a big focus of the shift to sustainability is learning: that both children and adults should be able to understand how things are made, where things come from, and in what ways we can act responsibly, person to person. School + Incubator experiments with ways to build buildings and arrange dwellings, questioning the environmental impact of brick veneer homes and very low-density dwelling.
