Making travel time an active and desirable part of a family holiday.

Ths project provides us with a future that nurtures family leisure time, including tackling the dreaded, ‘are we there yet?' trip. From Rowville's proposed station, through to carriages that privilege play and activity, and services that remove the need to cart all that fits into a car boot, Family-friendly Trains envisions the journey as a part of the holiday rather than a prelude to it.
